JAKARTA - Sputnik News Agency and Radio and the Indonesian website SINDOnews.com have signed a cooperation agreement. The document envisages the long-term exchange of information materials in English, organization of joint events and participation in implementing Russian-Indonesian initiatives in the media sphere.
First Deputy Editor-in-Chief Sergei Kochetkov signed the agreement on behalf of Sputnik and SINDOnews.com President Director Sururi Alfaruq and Sales and Marketing Director Lia Marliana on behalf of Sindonews.com.
“This agreement is an important step in the development of Sputnik’s partner network in Southeast Asia as well as cultural cooperation between Russia and Indonesia. We hope that content exchange and the implementation of joint initiatives within our partnership will prove effective and mutually beneficial,” Sergei Kochetkov commented.

This agreement has become the third document on partnership with Indonesian media in Sputnik’s portfolio after the cooperation with Jawa Pos and Radio Republik Indonesia that started in 2017.
