JAKARTA - Founder of National Movement Million Endowment of Braille Digital Al Quran for Blind People which also the Imam of Nabawi Mosque, Sheikh Ali Jaber revealed, until now still minimal support from government for program which being his initiation
"I have repeatedly requested meeting with President Jokowi to explain and ask for government support the program, but there has been no response. We do not want to ask for money, but we just wanted to ask for referrals," said Sheikh Ali Jaber on the sidelines of One Day Seminar SIMAQ with Sheikh Ali Jaber in Jakarta, recently.
Then, what about the response of the relevant departments? For this, Jaber also said the same thing.
"Equally, there is no response. But for me it's okay. Probably because there is a perception if we will enlist the help of the relevant departments," says the initiator of Quick Method Read Al Quran of Medina Method.
In fact, Braille Digital Al Quran for the blind is only in Indonesia. And this, he says it as a thing that should be pride.
"We hope, this Braille Digital Al Quran for the blind will be spread throughout the world," he said.
National Movement Endowments Million for Braille Digital Al Quran itself intends to help alleviate the blind of Al Quran on the disabled blind in Indonesia.Currently blind people in Indonesia recorded three million people, most of them are Muslims who need care and support.
"We wanted to invent 10,000 direct share Braille Digital Al Quran to the blind. And we want to invite the President Jokowi to be present there," said Sheikh Ali Jaber.
