JAKARTA - Event of Musabaqoh Kitab Kuning (MKK) 2017 which organized by wing organization of National Awakening Party (PKB), National Coordination Council (DKN) Garda Bangsa was held succesfuly .
As a result, 24 winners on Grand Final night were announced by Chairman of PKB, Muhaimin Iskandar on the eve of 19th Harlah PKB in Jakarta on Saturday (22/7).
"I am proud and grateful because MKK 2017 had new champion, one of them from Pekanbaru, Riau. So it is not always from Java or Lirboyo boarding school that always win," joked man who is familiarly called Cak Imin.
Chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Aizzudin Abdurahman also appreciated the 2017 MKK title positively.
"This event is very positive, I congratulate PKB who have a concentration on this classical event which must be the foundation in the formation of the character of the nation," said this young NU figure who is familiarly called Gus Ais.
In addition, DKN Garda Bangsa see MKK mat can be a renegeration event of NU ulama in the future.
"Not only become successor of ulama, but also the nation's leaders because this nation needs a religious leader as well as nationalist and the character is clearly owned by santri because two noble values that part of the contents of the contemporary yellow book," said Chairman of DKN Garda Bangsa, H.Cucun Syamsurijal.
