JAKARTA - Recently, ISIS stormed prison in town of Marawi, Philippines and released terrorist prisoners. ISIS also carried out large-scale attacks on the Marawi. Mayor Marawi also ordered government troops to withdraw from the city for a while due to losing numbers while waiting for reinforcements.
Access to the Marawi was blocked by truck, the militants occupied the city of 200,000 citizens. After releasing hundreds of inmates, the militants burned the prison.
The Philippine military has started launching a counterattack to seize Marawi. President Duterte established martial law status throughout the island of Mindanao which bordering with North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
