JAKARTA - Soon, Eid Adha come to celebrate by moslem. Worship slaughtering sacrificial animals (qurban) and then the meat distributed to the poor people is worship are wont to do in this day.
Although usually done individually, people can also qurban via Rumah Zakat (RZ). Qurban meat will be processed into corned, and the benefit could be longer and also can wider distribution area.
"SuperQurban corned could prove to be a solution to the food needs in the affected areas at home and abroad, remote island, to local food insecurity," said CEO RZ, Nur Efendi in Jakarta, recently.
To campaign for benefit SuperQurban corned, RZ hook The Changcuters as representation donors, which mostly young and productive. This is not the first time, a group whose members Tria (vocalist), Qibil (backing vocals & guitar), Alda (guitarist), Dipa (bassist), and Erick (drummer) get qurban in the RZ.
"Since 2008, we've believed RZ as partners sharing to communities in need. SuperQurban the outstanding innovation. One of the pioneers," said Tria.
Last year, RZ gets distributed 3,500 goats and 1,300 cow whose benefits can still be felt by the people who need up to now. During October 2015 to June 2016 period, RZ has distributed 222,000 cans of corned SuperQurban to various regions in Indonesia.
RZ humanitarian action this year include Bhakti PMK Expedition 2016, which distributes 30,000 cans of corned leading to the island in West Nusa Tenggara, Maluku and West Papua, an expedition to the island of Lemukutan Kab. Bengkayang, Pontianak, until Action Disaster Care for victims of floods and landslides and fires in Pandeglang and Depok, in August 2016.
