JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Imam Nahrawi equip sarong and tasbih to Evan Dimas will undergo a trial at the club RCD Espanyol B for four months.
According Imam, sarong and tasbih is a symbol that Evan Dimas always grounded and given to the God. By jokingly, Imam said not to give money as a provision because this United Surabaya player has grown and has been able to find the money themselves.
"I give sarong and tasbih in order to Evan always remember the God and not forget to pray. Besides that, sarong is typical Indonesian, so let Evan always remembered and back to Indonesia," said Imam Nahrawi, Tuesday (2/2)
According to Imam, the government is proud of the achievements Evan Dimas who won the trust of the club, based in Barcelona. Kemenpora party, said the priest, have submitted to the President of Joko Widodo Evan Dimas about the opportunity to develop a career at Espanyol B.
"The government is very proud when the children of the nation as Evan Dimas won the trust of the big clubs in Spain. I've told Mr. President, and he is very happy. It is expected that the future more young Indonesian players are given the opportunity to develop and pursue a career abroad. I hope the knowledge gained Evan Dimas benefit and for the good of football Indonesia. The government will continue to try our best to make corrections to the national football in order to become a place for players with potential such as Evan Dimas," added Imam.
