After Saudi Arabia Hospital Fire, Number of Parties 'Mutual Accuses'

JEDDAH - Some parties in Saudi Arabia recriminations related to fire a hospital in the port city of Jazan, which killed at least 24 people while 141 others were injured. Fire on Thursday (24/12) was held in intensive care units and in units of birth.
Deputy governor of the region, Saad al-Muqrin told the newspaper Al Sharq Al Awsat as reported by BBC, said the crowd entered the hospital to help put out the fire even hinder rescue teams work.
"There was a crowd in large numbers that go to the hospital ... they hinder the evacuation process," said Al-Muqrin.
He said people who had wanted to help this then becomes a victim.
But users of social media have accused local authorities careless, saying safety standards in hospitals is low.
Regional officials responsible for health issues, Ahmed al-Sahli, denied any safety problems at the hospital.
Saudi Health Minister, Khalid al-Falih, said it was too early to determines the cause of the fire.
