President Jokowi Watching 'Pengkhianatan G30S/PKI' Film at Bogor

BOGOR - Heavy rain that flushed the city of Bogor on Friday night, September 29, 2017, did not dampen the steps of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to hurry to Korem 061 Suryakencana Bogor, West Java.

President visited Korem 061 Suryakencana Bogor who was held watching together 'Pengkhianatan G30S/PKI' film in indoor tennis courts with members of TNI, Polri and the community.

The president that night was wearing a red jacket combined black pants arrived at the location approximately at 20:00 pm and immediately occupy the place directly in front of the screen.

Accompanying the President, among others were Danpaspampres, Maj. Gen. Mar Ili Dasili, Adjunct Colonel Mar Ili Dasili, Deputy Commander of Group A Paspampres Lieutenant Colonel Mar Efhardian, Chief of Korem Bogor Colonel Infantri Mirza Agus, Chief of Bogor Police, Kombes Pol Ulung Sampurna, Chief of Kodim Bogor, Lieutenant Colonel Doddy Suhadiman.

After watching the movie, President then greeted the people who participated. President Jokowi who had time to take off his shoes while watching the 'Pengkhianatan G30S/PKI', then rushed to the people who have been waiting to shake hands.

The moment that rarely encountered Bogor citizens also used a lot of citizens to take a photo with the background of President Jokowi.

TNI Commander, General Gatot Nurmantyo after watching together said, President Jokowi very serious watching the movie.

"He is very serious to watch, I am also serious," said General Gatot, Saturday (30/9) morning.

The screening of this film started around 8:15 pm and ended at around 00:35 pm.
