After Arrest of Bengkulu Governor, KPK Browse Number of Locations

JAKARTA - Investigation team of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted series of searches at office of Bengkulu Governor, Ridwan Mukti. The search is still related to arrested of Ridwan and his wife in Bengkulu, yesterday.
Spokesman for KPK, Febri Diansyah said, search was also carried out in several places suspected of evidence in it. However, Febri did not mention the details of the location.
"The search was conducted as a continuation of arrested process for securing evidence," Febri said at KPK Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (21/6).
He only reveal in detail where the search site. However, he not mentioned.
"The details of the search site will be presented at a press conference," he said.
KPK in addition to arrest the Bengkulu Governor, Ridwan Mukti and his wife, Lili Madari also arrested three others. The three were from private elements.
Ridwan Mukti and his wife, Lily Martiani Maddari was caught red-handed by KPK while receiving bribes in connection with road development projects in the region.
"Some Rp1 billion has been confiscated as evidence, and it is now still being studied by a KPK team," Senior Commissioner Herman, the director of special crime investigation, said on Tuesday.
Maddari was caught red-handed at her private residence on Jalan Hibrida, Sidomulyo, Bengkulu City, on Tuesday morning. Along with Maddari, the KPK also caught two contractors known by their initials as RDS and JW, who are believed to have paid bribes to the governors wife. KPK also confiscated from Maddaris home documents believed to be the evidence of the bribery.
Maddari was earlier a member of the regional legislative assembly of South Sulawesi. Before being active in politics and later becoming an important figure of the Golkar party in Musi Rawas District, she was known as a businesswoman.
