JAKARTA - Activity of homosexual groups which raided in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, last night was suspected to have lasted for two years.
Maman, a security officer in Kelapa Gading area, said that the shophouses that had been used for the location had been in place for two years. In fact, they know that the place is only as a location fitness and spa.
"Every night is a lot of guys who come," Maman told the site on Tuesday (22/5).
Police themselves suspect the place has been operating since three years ago.
"Initially the activities were conducted in a limited way," said Head of North Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKBP Nasriadi in Jakarta on Monday.
After a year, manager of the homosexual group started spreading the forbidden activity to the public by requiring a member fee ammount Rp180 thousand per person.
The group's managers often hold events every day but the usual big activities they hold every Saturday and Sunday.
One of the activities undertaken is naked dancing with a fee for beginner dancer Rp700.000 per once play and profesional dancers Rp1.200.000 per once play.
Nasriadi said police had been monitoring the homosexual activity for two weeks before raided the place.
Last Sunday night, police arrested 141 alleged perpetrators of homosexual sex party titled 'The Wild One' at shophouse PT Atlantis Jaya in Kokan Permata Block B 15-16, Kelapa Gading, RT15 / 03, Kelapa Gading Barat.
Police seized recording of hidden cameras, condoms, photocopies of business licenses, millions of cash, mattresses, advertising activities and cell phones.
The perpetrators are subject to Article 30 juncto Article 4 paragraph (2) and or Article 36 juncto Article 10 of Law Number 4 Year 2008 regarding pornography.
