TGB Become Role Model of Alternative Leaders for Indonesia

JAKARTA - Recently, Gerindra Party expressed intention to hold the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) HM Zainul Majdi as vice president accompany Prabowo Subianto in the upcoming presidential election. The intention is based on TGB achievement during his tenure as Governor of NTB.
The emergence of the name of TGB as a potential national leader is seen as an effort to realize the role model of alternative leaders for Indonesia in the future.
"TGB is an ideal young and ideal leader figure to set an example for the younger generation of the nation that young people can achieve with strong religious knowledge," TGB spokesman Valdy Abu Dhafa said in Jakarta on Friday (5/5).
