JAKARTA - Polemic about instant noodle product that allegedly contains elements that are not kosher still rolling. PT Korinus as importers of Samyang noodles from South Korea insists that importing and distributing kosher Samyang noodles.
"So far, we only import the kosher Samyang noodles that we circulated to the Indonesian market," said Endra Nirvana, Sales and Marketing Manager of PT Korinus in Jakarta, recently.
Since it, public need not worry, because Samyang noodles they already kosher guaranteed. Required by public as consumers are observant and intelligent before buying.
Samyang noodle which circulated in Indonesia from PT Korinus is the kind of Hot Chicken Ramen or Spicy Fried Noodles Chicken Flavor. His side, continued Endra not responsible for any Samyang noodles with other flavors found in the market.
"Who distibuted it to Indonesia? We do not know. We hope the government can handled on illegal importers of this," said Endra.
Spicy fried noodles chicken flavor can be found in two types of packaging, packaging cup/bowl and pack. Both have been registered in the number BPOM BPOM RI ML: 331510033167 and 231509027167, respectively 140 grams and 105 grams.
Additionally, Samyang noodles which imported PT Korinus have got kosher certification of the relevant institutions in South Korea.
"Kosher certification for Samyang noodles which we import from Korea Muslim Federation (KMF). If here like Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). They are used to provide kosher certificates for the food and drinks there," she explained.
Meanwhile, to kosher label by MUI, said Endra, just waiting for the application process is completed in the MUI. Estimated completion in the first quarter of 2017.
