BANDUNG - Since last week, Andika Naliputra, one member of The Titans band which popular nicknamed Andika 'The Titans' arrested by Drug Unit Bandung police on suspicion of drug possession type of gorilla tobacco.
Described by Chief of Bandung Drug Unit Division, Adj Commisioner Febry Kurniawan Ma'ruf, Andika arrested since February 21.
"A week ago, after process and today already release," said Febry in Bandung, Wednesday (1/3).
According to him, this former Peterpan personnel is handed caught with the evidence of two packs of Hanoman Gorillas tobacco packages. Andika was arrested at his residence while receiving the ordered goods.
"So, he ordered by message from Instagram, then continues to WhatsApp (WA). From dealers shipped via transportation services online," he explained.
From Andika recognition during the investigation, he confessed two times ordered and taking illicit goods.
"We've watched the owner of the item, and while making deliveries, we follow and turned out to Andika home. It was Andika waiting, so we caught with evidence," he continued.
Andika arrested and confiscated two packets of tobacco, each weighing 3 grams, worth Rp700 thousand. He was charged under Article 112 jo 127 of Law No. 35/2009 on narcotics.
"Andika only users, not dealers. Dealers are the Instagram account owner. He (Andika) admitted ordering the goods, already twice a message also to his Instagram account that," said Febry.
