In Youth Pledge, Johar Baru Residents Say No to Drugs and Brawls

JAKARTA - Commemoration of Youth Pledge Day October 28, celebrated resident of Johar Baru, Central Jakarta incorporated in Forum Masyarakat Cinta Jakarta (FMCJ) with a national reflection on the Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM).
"It was held residents of Johar Baru, in addition to commemorate the Youth Pledge, as well as a form of evidence against the bad image that had been attached to the territory of Johar Baru. We want to prove that Johar Baru not only known as a drug or a brawl, but also have a younger generation that achievement," said Chairman of FMCJ, Sarah Setiaman sidelines Culture Parade.
She said, in middle of negative image, Johar Baru young people can achieve many accomplishments, among them managed to win Paskibraka in level DKI Jakarta.
"We also have waste banks, and other social activities, where we go down to the citizens, purely because we love the neighborhood. So here we cultivate all the generations of the nation, let us contribute in building this beloved nation, if only a little," he said.
To note, FMCJ is a collection of Johar Baru residents who are active in social activities to help the people in the surrounding neighborhood.
"Our neighborhood in Johar Baru vulnerable to drugs and brawl. So on the basis of our concerns, FCMJ born," said Sarah.
