JAKARTA - A number of mass graves location in events of 1965 are already known for certain location. Currently living disclosure efforts are yet to be done.
Chairman of Murder Victims Research Foundation in 1965 (YPKP), Bedjo Untung claimed have handed over some location of the mass graves.
"YPKP has awarded 122 location with number of victims of mass graves there are at least 13,999," said Bedjo in Jakarta, Thursday (25/8).
Related to alleged mass grave sites, Bedjo admitted, Coordinating Minister of Politic, Legal and Security Affairs at that time were held Luhut Binsar Panjaitan will immediately formed a team to investigate.
However Bedjo admitted not sure Luhut and the team will serious in investigation. Anyway, if indeed conducted an investigation should participate took YPKP and Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM).
"I'm afraid it's just essay Mr. Luhut course, frankly I say so," he said.
Bedjo claim to believe that the source of information on mass graves and submitted to the Coordinating Minister of Politic, Legal and Security Affairs are valid. He called the location of mass graves in the territory of Boyolali, Pati, Wonogiri and Pekalongan.
According to him, the validity of the mass graves that still added the presence of witnesses and perpetrators who are still alive. Even he admitted to firsthand witness the allegations of mass graves in Pati, although at that time he did not feel safe because of the presence of members of the intelligence.
Added Bedjo, this time not a few of police and Koramil who want to witness the alleged existence of a mass grave.
"But then again I'm not sure if it is not coordinated with the Commission. I'm just afraid there will be efforts to remove any trace," he concluded.
