JAKARTA - Former Chief of Indonesia Army (TNI) Staff, Lieutenant General Ret Johannes Suryo Prabowo demand that the Government of Singapore apologized and did not show hostility to Indonesia.
This was revealed Johannes who was detained at Changi Airport while trying to take his luggage on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 when Suryo return from Fiji with Fiji Airways . Before arriving in Indonesia, Prabowo transit at Changi Airport. And his name included in the black list people banned from entering Singapore.
"Singapore should apologized, not just an explanation. Stop showing hostility to the Indonesian people," Prabowo said through a written statement received Sindonews, Friday (19/9).
On the events that happened, Suryo asked Indonesian government to protect the dignity of our nation overseas.
"No matter how small the status and profession," said former Deputy Commander of Paspampres.
The former Jakarta Military Commander was also hoped that the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore making assistance system for every citizen in Singapore.
"Do not usually just submit an explanation of Singapore," he said.
He appealed to the people of Indonesia do to Singapore, if it is not urgent.
"If spending on goods that baseball is the essentials so no need to Singapore. Build self-reliance, do not feel inferior and easily amazed," he said.
