JAKARTA - These days, learning martial arts not just only for sport. Even for some women, this become a lifestyle. In addition to body fitness and health, martial arts is necessary to protect themselves. Moreover, cases of sexual harassment and violence against women is increasing in recent days.
One of the martial arts which becoming a lifestyle of women in Jakarta is Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing. Vika Chu one of woman which learning this. Model which also the singer in good spirits for learning Muay Thai in one martial arts studio in Jakarta.
"About recent two month for me actively participate Muay Thai again. First time, participate for couple month, but stopped and continues anymore," said this singer of 'Mabuk Cinta' song in Jakarta, recently.
When viewed from the movement, Muay Thai martial arts it so hard and prone to injury. The technique is very full use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee attacks.
"But I'm not afraid of injury, I am still interested to learn," said girl from Tasikmalaya when asked about the possibility of injury during practice.
Although not intended to be a Muay Thai professional athlete, but singers who take shelter in the management of Kobra Music Multimedia assisted by Hizrah Bacan draws on the positive benefits from exercise of this sport.
"Good for train physical stamina and breath. It also relates to my activity in the world of singing. Bang Hizrah (Hizrah Bacan) also carrying my sport," added Miss Queen of the Night 2015.
