JAKARTA - Related to many people who suddenly claim to contribute to release of 10 citizens who were held hostage since March 26 by Abu Sayyaf militants, including by political parties and groups of national mass media, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) declared from the beginning, the government deliberately not issued chronology of liberation.
"I always say that we can not talk because related to our citizen security, so we can not openly. Let the others who openly," said Foreign Ministry spokesman, Arramanatha Nasir in Kemenlu office, Jakarta, Monday (2/5).
Further Nasir, government is still trying to free four citizens who are still held hostage by militant groups in the Philippines so that all that is presented to the media is still monitored by the group.
What is clear, he said, the release of 10 sailors citizen it involves many parties.
"I can not say that there are A, B or C, if I told you it would be dangerous (for further negotiation process)," said Nasir.
Regarding the claims of participation in the liberation efforts and a variety of news circulating about the ransom, he called on all parties, including the mass media exercise restraint in issuing opinions and news.
"Madam (Retno Marsudi) has said that the issue has been completed, there are still other issues, let us move forward to resolve it," he said.
