JAKARTA - A massive demonstration by public transport and taxi drivers against the presence of application based transportation services which ended anarchists very regrettable many parties.

Police in Jakarta vowed to take firm action against protesters who engaged in violence as massive rallies on Tuesday by public transport and taxi drivers against the presence of app-based transportation services turned into chaos.

Some of the demonstrators swept the streets and attacked taxis which were still operating, forcing the drivers to join the rallies.

"We are still digging deeper into the incidents," Sr. Comr. Mohammad Iqbal, spokesman for the Jakarta Police, said on Tuesday (22/3).

"The principle is that we will surely move against those who engaged in illegal acts."

Anarchist demo is also unfortunate Jakarta governor candidate, Riza Villano Satria Putra.

"We are all brothers and should not hurt each other," said Riza Vilano, Tuesday (22/3) in Jakarta.

It is said Riza, all citizens are obliged to follow the rules of the government, but the government in making the rules should also see the benefit of the wider community.

He called on all enterprise applications online in order to follow government regulations.

"It's mandatory, lived government, especially when it occurs in Jakarta online applications problems. Governors should be able to create a new gubernatorial governing online application. So that people can be calm and to follow the orders of the governor," said Riza.

But he also hopes to evolve the conventional taxi owners by opening an online application that is friendly to consumers. Riza sure if it is met, consumers will prefer a more reputable company. Riza but also urges them to follow the rules.

"The head of the area should immediately make regulations that are regional, remove Pergub, so that citizens are not burdened with prolonged polemic," he said.
