Persib Contribute Six Players in Civil Futsal National Team

BANDUNG - Six players who played for Persib Bandung in the 1990-2000 era would appear to represent Indonesia in the 1st ASEAN Civil Service Games (ACSG) 2015 Malaysia for futsal games. They are are Yaris Riyadi, Cecep Supriyatna, Asep Dayat, Kekey Zakaria, Tatang Supriyatna and Dadang Sudrajat.
ACSG is sports event for the Civil Servants (PNS) in ASEAN. The Indonesian contingent members are active civil servants in several cities/regencies in West Java. Indonesia is in the first group with Laos and Cambodia. The game had already begin on November 15.
Chairman Bapor Korpi of West Java, Asep Sukmana said, West Java's futsal team was chosen to go forward to represent Indonesia. One of the players is Yaris Riyadi has been a civil servant since 1998. Other games will be represented by civil servants from other provinces in Indonesia.
"There are five sports to be competed, namely table tennis, badminton, futsal, golf and bowling. ASEAN Civil Service Games (ACSG) is an event supporter of the ASEAN Summit 27th," said Asep as quoted by Persib's official website.
Men who also served as Secretary of the Department of Communication and Information (Diskominfo) of West Java province, said some former players Persib be included. In addition to its civil servants, they also have skill as football/soccer players though most of them have already retired for competing professionally.
