JAKARTA - A further court of business monopoly allegedly conducted by PT Tirta Investama as a manufacturer of drinking water in packaging with Aqua brand and PT Balina Agung Perkasa rolled back.
At the court that was held in KPPU office on Wednesday (27/9), two witnesses from PT Balina Agung Perkasa, Agung Pamuji as Retail Supervisor of PT Balina Agung Perkasa in Bekasi and Fajri Sukma as supervisor of PT Balina Agung Perkasa.
In his testimony, both Indra and Fajri stated that there has been removal of POSM (point of sale material) Aqua and replaced with POSM Le Minerale by Le Minerale branding team in various regions.
Fajri testified that Le Minerale's branding team had taken off PSOM Aqua in Bekasi, East Jakarta and Central Jakarta.
"Honorably, I witnessed firsthand how the LM branding team removed Aqua POSM and replaced it with Le Minerale POSM at many outlets in Cakung, Sukapura and East Jakarta Youth areas," Indra Pamukti said in court.
On the testimony of both, Arnold Sihombing, Chairman of KPPU Investigator Team saw two testimonies from PT Balina Agung Perkasa trying to alleviate. However, the testimony is not correct because it has nothing to do with the problem at hand.
"The testimony of two witnesses has nothing to do with the case being handled by KPPU," said Arnold in Jakarta, Friday (29/9).
As is known, PT Tirta Investama is suspected of violating Article 15 paragraph 3 point b and Article 19 letter a and b Law no. 5 of 1999 on business monopoly.
