JAKARTA - Not in vain if this beautiful virgin had wait for two years. Finally, the finalist from DKI Jakarta 5 successfully managed the crown of Putri Pariwisata Indonesia (PPI) 2017.
"This champion is a gift from my struggle that I have been looking forward for two years. I have been following the PPI contest since 2015. It's a gift of my patience and struggle," said RR Astari Indah Vernideani in Jakarta, Saturday (26/8).
After officially holding the title PPI 2017, Astari will directly synergize with the Ministry of Tourism to support and introduce Indonesian tourist destinations to the international arena.
"With all the supplies I have, I will lift Indonesia through the wealth of tourism," said Astari who along with 38 other finalists past the quarantine since August 12, 2017 ago.
Added by Founder and Chairman of El John Pageants, Johnie Sugiarto, the fifth finalist PPI 2017 is planned to represent Indonesia in Miss Tourism Queen International, Miss Tourism International, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year, Miss Oriental Tourism, and Miss Global Beauty Queen.
"After passing this Grand Final, the winners will again fight in the international arena and we will prepare for the event which is planned to be held in 2018," said Johnnie.
Johnnie also asked the finalists to introduce culinary archipelago to the world, in accordance with the theme PPI 2017 'Enjoying Wonderful Indonesia Culinary'.
In the Grand Final of PPI 2017, five winners are RR Astari Indah Vernideani from DKI Jakarta 5 (Putri Pariwisata Indonesia 2017), Ravindia Carina from East Java (Runner Up I / Miss Culinary Tourism), Syalomita Gabriela Karen from North Sulawesi (Runner Up II / Miss Marine Tourism), RR Astira Intan Vernadeina from DKI Jakarta 3 (Runner Up III / Mias Sport Tourism) and Herliansa Chrisnasari Puspita from Central Java (Runner Up IV / Miss Medical Tourism).
