HDCI Members Requested Not Individual and Exclusive

JAKARTA - 27 years already Harley-Davidson Club Indonesia (HDCI) coloring the Indonesia and world automotive society. As the ages grow, these big motor lovers are asked to appear closer and can benefit all levels of Indonesian society wherever HDCI is.
"HDCI and the entire motor community are expected to be able to present themselves with a variety of positive activities that the result can be felt by the community because all bikers from any club are citizens who love the country," said Chairman of HDCI, Commisaris Gen Police (Ret) Nanan Sukarna on the sidelines of the commemoration Independence Day Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta on Sunday (27/8).
Nanan also confirmed six values that carried HDCI can be run properly. The six values are 'together, family, brothers, not exclusively, horizontally and socially performing'.
"Easy to say but very difficult to do. If the first three points are done, of course all personal and internal problems can be solved well and there is a good solute. While with the three points both HDCI and all clubs in Indonesia can benefit the community in every presence," said Nanan.
In line with Nanan, Secretary General of HDCI, Jeffrey also emphasized that HDCI keep trying to appear not exclusive, not individual and can mix with the community.
"So all activities that HDCI does for community activities and support government programs such as anti-narcotics programs, pioneer of safety driving and more," said Jeffrey.
Related to the views of people who often feel disturbed over the presence of the motor bike community, Jeffrey stressed that community members should be able to respond wisely.
"It is still difficult to remove the impression, but we slowly reduce the use of sirens, monopolize the road, in traffic light we stop. We slowly reduce the people's complaints. Naturally there are still people who criticize. We must be wise to criticize society and prove we can change for the better with the criticism," he continued.
He doesn't deny that there are still members who violate. But his side did not hesitate to give strict sanctions for members who violate.
"There is no mercy for that, we can give warning until the revocation of Member Card (KTA)," he said.
In the celebration of the 72nd Independence Day Republic of Indonesia, HDCI also held a pilgrimage to Kalibata Hero Cemetery (TMP), Jakarta. After the pilgrimage and ceremony led by the Chairman of HDCI, all the bikers do sow flowers in some tombs.
After the pilgrimage, about 300 units of large motor bike moved to the Senayan area and finish at Wisma Aldiron, South Jakarta.
