JAKARTA - The government expressed again the firm stance against the existence of radical groups and terrorism that could potentially appear in Indonesia.
"I challenge ISIS or radical groups and terrorism, you can do it there, but in here I 'kick' you," said Minister of Defense, Ryamizard Ryacudu in Ministry of Defense office, Jakarta on Wednesday (26/7).
Ryamizard also asserted, the same applies to retired army (TNI) who exposed to radical and anti-Pancasila ideology for denying Sapta Marga and Soldiers Vow when exposed to radical and anti-Pancasila ideology.
"There is a law (Sapta Marga and Soldiers Vow)," said Ryamizard.
He asserted, for every member of TNI, Soldiers Vow and Sapta Marga lasts a lifetime. Although has become a retired officer, the obligation to defend Pancasila as a state ideology remains in effect until death.
"Indonesian patriots defend the state ideology of responsibility and do not know surrender, meaning that the soldiers to death defend the Pancasila, the Sapta Marga and Soldiers Vow was never revoked, to death," said Ryamizard.
For information, previously, General TNI (Ret.) Agum Gumelar mentions there is a small part of retired TNI-Polri who is now exposed to radicalisme and anti-Pancasila. This was disclosed Agum when meeting with President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (25/7).
"It is true that among retired officers there is also a radical, there are 1-2, 10-20 possible," said Agum in a press conference, after the meeting.
Chairman of the Association of Retired Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia (PEPABRI) is appealed to all retired officers who are exposed to radicalisme to return to the right path.
"Let's go back to Sapta Marga, Soldiers Vow, and Tribrata," he said.
Agum ensures that most TNI-Polri retired officers support President Jokowi's move to dissolve anti-Pancasila mass organizations.
Support given to the government can take the form of a thought contribution. However, he asserted that the retired officers are also ready to contribute more if requested.
"We strongly support the government's decisive action in dissolving Pancasila's predatory organization, in contrast to Pancasila, if there is any power coming from seeking to be a predator of Pancasila dealing with us," Agum added.
