ORARI Aware Illegal Transmitter Spreads Hoax and Hate Speech

JAKARTA - Not all the people know if illegal transmitter spread in lot of areas. The presence of illegal transmitters potential spreading terrorism, hoax and hate spreaders, in addition social media like previously happened.
"Illegal transmitter spreading hatred and fomenting the situation, so existence illegal transmitter should find out and and eliminate," said Chairman of Jakarta Amateur Radio Fair (JARF 2017) Committee, Gigie Sugianto on sidelines of JARF 2017 in Jakarta, Saturday (15/7).
So, in JARF 2017 event this time, organizers held Mobile and Walking ARDF competition. Two of these events train ORARI members able to search for illegal transmitters that potentially disrupt stability.
"In low scale, this illegal transmitter will interfere with frequency in illegal broadcasts, where in ORARI itself is notabene forbidden," said Gigie who is also Chairman of West Jakarta ORARI.
Told about JARF 2017 event itself, Gigie mention in this year JARF which held on 15-16 July 2017 in Ancol Beach City, Ancol, Jakarta held bigger than the previous year.
"Participants continue to grow from year to year, not only from all over Indonesia, even Asia Pacific such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Japan and US," explained Gigie
This event is also a concrete manifestation of ORARI existence in establishing relations with all parties including with Jakarta Provincial Government and also in order to welcome 490th Anniversary of Jakarta, 49th ORARI anniversary and 72th Independence Day Republic of Indonesia.
