Responsibility, Special Assessment in Miss Earth Indonesia Event

JAKARTA - Already five times, EL JOHN Pageants held Miss Earth Indonesia event. And in 2017, this event was held again with 30 participants from all over Indonesia. 30 finalists from all corners of Indonesia following the quarantine period before entering into the grand final night on July 20 next.
"We have 30 sessions on environmental issues during the quarantine period, they will be given a briefing to improve their knowledge about the environment, from plastic waste, global warming and other environmental issues," explained Johnnie Sugiarto, CEO of EL JOHN Pageants in gala dinner Miss Earth Indonesia 2017 in Jakarta, recently.
This event, further Johnnie, will not be halted on the symbolism, but continue on the positive contributions that made the finalists who facilitated by EL JOHN Pageants.
"We have routines making biopori, mangrove tree planting and other activities related to environmental protection," said Johnnie.

He also explained, the selection process of Miss Earth Indonesia this year is the last encounter with random selection alias not by region.
"Next year we will select from province. So..later regional representation will be accommodated well," he said.
Johnnie said, in this event, sense of responsibility also into a special criteria are taken into selection of candidates for finalists.
"We want the finalists known the material optimally and give birth to a reliable young human resources of Indonesia. We want in every international event Indonesia name called and Indonesia known," said Johnnie.
