JAKARTA - CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz's move to support Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) communities, has drawn criticism from Indonesia Islamic organization, Muhammadiyah.
Chairman of Economics Central Executive (PP) Muhammadiyah, Anwar Abbas mention, Starbucks steps that support LGBT feared damaging morale of the younger generation, especially in Indonesia.
"To prevent this, it is time for Indonesian people to consider a boycott of Starbucks product," Anwar to SINDOnews on Sunday (2/7).
Anwar continued, his side did not want because of attitude and view of Starbucks owner who considered support forbidden community, young generation in Indonesia become victim.

This Secretary General of Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) said, do not want the result of the act of the boss of this coffee shop, the national identity becomes damaged and destroyed.
"Therefore, Muhammadiyah appeals to government and society take steps and act to save the interest of our nation and country. Let us not let others damage and ruffle our identity and personality as a religious and cultured nation," he added.
Anwar Abbas said, steps and attitude of Howard Schultz who ditengarahi support LGBT has been launched by a number of media. In fact, according to Anwar, at a shareholder general meeting, Howard insists that if any shareholder does not support a similar marriage, then shareholders are welcome to invest elsewhere.
