JAKARTA - Jakarta Police has not determined suspects status to man with initials AL who was suspected as perpetrator of acid attack against senior investigator Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Novel Baswedan.
"We are not holding back but the officers will bring to explore his alibis," said Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Police, Commissioner Argo Yuwono in Jakarta, Thursday (11/5).
Argo said, police forward presumption of innocence principle and had checked AL for 1x24 hours.
He explained, AL was recorded as a security officer of one spa in Jakarta area with working hours from 15:00 pm until 00:00 pm.
Argo said the AL did not work the day before Novel attack on April 11, 2017 and then AL was escorted his brother to Pasar Minggu Station in South Jakarta for riding train to Sawah Besar Station.
Argo added, investigators have not set a suspect and still explore AL alibi on 10 April 2017.
Officers will check AL work attendance list and confirm the veracity information to AL colleagues. Based on the inspection of three hidden camera recordings have not indicated AL as a Novel watering suspect.
