Rp30 Billion Asset Ministry of Foreign Affairs Retirement Threatened by Land Mafia

JAKARTA - Land assets valued at approximately Rp30 billion owned by retired ambassador and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rangkapan Jaya, Pancoran Mas, Depok threatened appropriated by land mafia. In fact, on average they own Certificate of Land Ownership (SHM) for 30 years.
Because of this reason, about 12 heirs and owners of these plots retired complaint this alleged land grabbing effort to the National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) on Monday (27/3).
"I held some of documents that leads there. We have evidence that our land has been pledged before status of land is clear," said Hesti Tomo, heir to one of employees in Komnas HAM office, Monday (27/3).
Currently, cases of plots retired employees lawsuit effort is being rolled at the Cassation level on Supreme Court (MA).
"We are in the near future will also report this lawsuit again to the police, the correlation is not much different from the Cleansweep of Land Mafia team which formed police and the National Land Agency (BPN)," said Tomo.

In a hearing with the Commission, Tomo joint heirs and land owners have asked for support for cases which have been rolling in court since 1997.
"Because this case has entered into the realm of law, the Commission can not intervene anymore. What can we do, first is to send a letter to Supreme Court to conduct judicial proceedings fair as possible. And second, after or before a legal decision remains the examination. And third, is mediation efforts between the plaintiff that has not been included in the claimant who is now the legal proceeding with the defendant," explained Commissioner of Komnas HAM, Otto Nur Abdullah in the presence of heir employees.
To note, the retired employees have also been suing the National Land Agency (BPN) to the court.
As expressed by former Ambassador to Italy, Soendaroe Rachmad, originally about 19 hectares of land that has been occupied by him and dozens of his friends were given the Agricultural Ministry in 1978 to manage employee Department. And has been equipped SHM plots.
"We have land ownership certificates plots that were once under the governance of Bogor Regency (now Depok). Land acquired in 1978, published by Bogor Agricultural office, so it has been granted Certificate of Property Rights Department employees. We all buy," said Soendaroe.

In 2014, they filed a lawsuit to BPN and win in District Court (PN) Depok. But at the level of the High Court (PT) Bandung they lost. and currently process of appeal in the Supreme Court.
