JAKARTA - Convicted murder of Wayan Mirna Salihin, Jessica Kumala Wongso still undergoing detention in Pondok Bambu Detention, East Jakarta. Jessica remained in custody pursuant to the decision of the appeal in the High Court (PT) DKI Jakarta.
Head of Pondok Bambu Detention, Ika Yusanti said it had received a letter of appeal decision that has been issued by Jakarta High Court with No393/PID/2016/PT. DKI.
As for the verdict, first appellate judge received a request from covicted lawyer and prosecutor. Second, strengthen the Central Jakarta District Court's Decision No 777/Pid.B /2016/PN.Jakpus.
"Third, establish that the defendant (Jessica) remain in custody," said Ika, Monday (27/3).
Fourth, continued Ika, to impose on the defendant to pay court costs of Rp2,000. Ika explained, the third point that is the basis for his party still holding Jessica in Rutan Pondok Bambu.
"The third decision that forms the basis for me to keep hold of Jessica," he said.
Previous, spread rumors if Jessica lawyer team asks his client was released from Pondok Bambu Detention since his incarceration on command Jakarta High Court ends at 00:00 pm, Monday (27/3).
