MALANG - Inna lillahi wainna ilaihi raji'un... Member of the Presidential Advisory Board, KH Hasyim Muzadi died this morning at around 6:11 pm. The sad news was announced by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Lukman Hakim Saifuddin
"Has died KH. Hasyim Muzadi this morning. Let's pray for the deceased forgiven their iniquity, the charity received unwholesome, being with him. Al-Fatihah..," Lukman wrote in his Twitter account on Thursday (16/3).
Condolences over the death of Hasyim also delivered Mustasyar Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) KH Ahmad Mustafa Bisri, or called Gus Mus.
"Inna Lillahi wainnã Ilaihi rãji'űn. We lost again a figure, former General Chairman of NU, KH. Hasyim. Hopefully Husnul khatimah.," Gus Mus wrote on his Twitter account.
Head of the Creative Economy Board, Triawan Munaf also expressed grief over the death of the former Chairman of the NU.
"Innalillahi wainnalillahi raji'un. Also grieve deeply that on the death of KH Hasyim. Hopefully deceased khusnul khotimah," said Triawan.

A day earlier, President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana Hasyim visit at Hasyim Muzadi residence at Pondok Pesantren Al Hikam complex, Malang, East Java. Jokowi instruct the presidential medical team to help the medical treatment for this member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Watimpres).
Jokowi arrives in Pondok Pesantren Al Hikam, Malang around 10:00 pm. Looks Jokowi youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep participate. Moreover, it also looks Secretary of State, Pratikno and the East Java governor, Soekarwo.
Jokowi delegation nearly 45 minutes at the residence of the former Chairman of NU, who have fallen ill since the beginning of January 2017. Jokowi explained how the last condition Hasyim, including whether it has been able to communicate directly or not.
