From Jazz to 'Nyinden', from Diah to Arjuna

JAKARTA - No lot of knows if this young jazz singer had the rare opportunity to be involved in the puppet performances at Jakarta Arts Building, Jakarta, recently.
In another display of the play "Bimo Birowo (Ruci Batoro)" that, Diah Ayu Lestari portray the figure of Arjuna, who must fight against the evil giants or Buto Cakil.
"This is the first experience, when I was the Javanese but only now can play puppet people," said Diah.
In addition to dance, the girl born December 2, 1997 it also demonstrates the ability of others in the world of singing.
"I also sing, named 'nyinden' in Java language. Incidentally at home, mom likes way of Java. So to some extent I know, only the difference it's sung," Diah said.
Because the first experience involved staging a puppet, it is natural for Diah feeling nervous before taking to the stage.
"Actually I have long want try this, but opportunity came now. I'm a Java so it should be able to dance," said Diah Ayu Lestari.
Three hours before the event, Diah Ayu Lestari already started to prepare like make-up and dressed Arjuna.
"Quite complicated anyway preparation. But it's nice," said Diah.
