JAKARTA - Koran SINDO and SINDOnews.com successfully held SINDO Robotics Olympics 2017 with 24 schools and 72 participants from elementary, middle and high school in Jabodetabek. This event held in Lotte Shopping Avenue, Kuningan, Jakarta, Saturday (4/3).
Robotics Olympics 2017 with theme of the culture of Indonesia, in addition to introduce children to technology system and also teaches to love Indonesia.
In this event, jury finally decided the winners. Here's the list of winners of each category:
Elementary School (SD) category:
Winner : SD Bogor Raya
Second Place : SD Santa Teresa
Third Place : SD GPA Tomang
Favorite I : Embun Pagi Islamic
Favorite II : SD Bintaro 3 Pagi
Favorite III : SD Penabur 11
Favorite IV : SDN Johar Baru 1 Pagi
Favorite V : SD Rawamangun 12 Pagi
Middle School (SMP) category:
Winner : SMP 5 Tarakanita
Second Place : SMPN 130
Third Place : SMPN 73
Favorite I : SMPN 45

Robotics 2017 Olympics itself opened by South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Irmansyah.
"By reading Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, SINDO Robotics Olympiade 2017 opened," said Irmansyah.
In his speech, he reminded that the Robotics Olympics is very important because Indonesia children is deciding the fate of the modern era who have the potential for rapid technology.
"I am proud of my friends for their future is going to be deciding fate of Indonesia. Do not let Indonesia children only be a spectator of other developed countries," he said.
Irmansyah added, to promote the spirit of the children of Indonesia, in this case the government needs to intervene to give comfort and support.
"There must be cooperation and collaboration with the government, not to the spirit of burning children can be broken," he said.
This event was attended by 24 participants, or 72 people (three per participant) of various levels of education in both elementary, middle and high school vying to design a robot that produces art and culture in Indonesia.
