JAKARTA - As a short-term goal, Indonesia Football Assosiation (PSSI) back targeting talented young players to become naturalized.
Secretary General PSSI, Ade Wellington mentions continue to monitor the progress of the blooded Indonesia players which is now a career abroad. This was done because the national soccer parent wants naturalized the number of footballers.
Ade explained one of the players who want to become naturalized bloody Indonesia is the Juventus goalkeeper, Emil Audero Mulyadi. The 20-year-old player have Indonesian blood from his father Edi Mulyadi which also was born at Acacia Mataram maternity hospital, Indonesia.
Besides Audero, former Lazio player which now joint Italian Serie D, Trastevere, Lorenzo Pace also become target naturalized.
"They are all still in the monitoring process. From the Netherlands there are two, one who played in Belgium his age was 20 years. In Italy there Mulyadi and Pace. The remaining seven people in Spain who practice in Valencia," said Ade.
He added, there are about 13 players who get into it for naturalized watchlist. The footballer is spread across several areas of Europe and Asia.
Previously, Ezra Walian will certainly be the first naturalized player. This Jong Ajax striker is expected to defend Indonesia U-23 national team that will compete in the SEA Games in 2017, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
