In Puncak District, Premium Price Now Just 6,500 per Liter

PUNCAK - Far away in the Puncak district, Papua, residents held events to celebrate the 71st Indonesia independence day with happily. Because, to coincide with Indonesia independence day for the first time a gas station which selling fuel oil (BBM) was built in the district.
"In order to celebrate 71st Indonesia independence day, PT Pertamina build a gas station in the Puncak district," said Regent of Puncak, Willem Wandik, Wednesday (17/8)
Given this gas station, the premium price earlier reached Rp 50 thousand per liter, now just 6,500 per liter. For the price of diesel fuel itself is only Rp 5,500 per liter only.
"Fuel subsidy is clear evidence that the state is present in Papua, the state is present in Puncak. This is what 'Indonesia Real Work'. With the fuel subsidy, and with their new aircraft belonging to the local government, the prices of essential goods and building materials will be even cheaper," said Willem.
Earlier, the price of basic necessities in the district is very high even though the distance is not too far from the city of Timika.
