JAKARTA - Dynamics ahead election candidates for Jakarta governor became louder. Musician Ahmad Dhani scheduled to be held South Jakarta Declaration Peoples Alliance (AMJAS) to support the fight against the nomination of Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) as Jakarta Governor.
This event was to be held at 13:00 pm at the residence of Ahmad Dhani in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, Monday (15/8).
"This declaration for the sake of solidity and coordinated resistance against arbitrary eviction which is a form of real tyranny of policies that are not pro-people leader," said Ahmad Dhani as Commander of AMJAS, Saturday (13/8).
One of the AMJAS initiators, Ramdan Alamsyah added, AMJAS will install 10 thousand banners for rejecting Ahok enter the territory of South Jakarta.
"We'll plug 10 thousand banners to reject the arrival Ahok to South Jakarta," said Ramdan.
He asserted South Jakarta community will now do the same thing as was done by the Community Alliance of North Jakarta (AMJU).
"People of South Jakarta against, meaning that when we identified rare against the governor were not good, we now prove that the South Jakarta will fight like (resistance) in North Jakarta," he said.
