FKPM, Bridging Between Police and The Community

TANGERANG - Maintaining safety and order is not always duty and responsibility of the police officer. The community was obliged to keep these two things. So, no doubt the community involvement has also become an important point.
On this basis, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) through the disposer Security Agency (Baharkam) launched the establishment of Police and Community Partnership Forum (FKPM) as a form of partnership between the police and society in various fields.
"Kabaharkam formed FKPM on February 8, 2016. The purpose of this forum to establish a partnership between police and the community in various areas to support the harmony of community life," explains builder of FKPM, Commisioner Police M. Elia W. Mastoko in between iftar with the Indonesian Film Artist Association (Pafindo) and orphans strays from Almathiin Foundation, Ciputat, Tangerang, recently.
Elia continued, one of the concrete steps of FKPM for foster a big bikers motor community by forming a Police and Community Partnership of Indonesia Big Bikers Motor Forum (FKPM MBI) as a pilot project in traffic coaching.
FKPM MBI itself is a community organization of police partners who have formally confirmed by Bhabinkamtibmas in Baharkam building in Jakarta Police Headquarters, on March 6, 2016.
It is hoped FKPM that such can be artists organizations like Pafindo to establish good relations between the police and celebrities.
"In order police and the artist relations as a member of society tightened. So that, there is also legal awareness among artists," said Elia.
On that occasion, Chairman of Pafindo, RM.H.Bagiono Prabowo added, the problem of law and justice do not always have to be resolved legally.
"The issue of justice or the law could also be discussed at the level of deliberation and consensus together. Unless efforts are not achieved consensus, it can be taken to the law. I think if there are good intentions, any issue can be resolved amicably," said the man who familiarly called Gion.
Gion told, he has experience in resolving cases without having to take legal action, moreover exposed in the mass media.
"I am also a lawyer, but not the type who wants a crowd in the news. Most importantly, finish the case by discussion way first," said Gion which accompanied by Secretary General Pafindo, Teddy Perangi and actor Rizal Jibran.
