BEIJING - At its inaugural annual meeting in Beijing, China, this week, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) as the world’s newest multilateral institution will bid to position itself as a leader in Asia-Pacific development financing.
The annual meeting brought together representatives from the 57 founding members and had a wide agenda, focused on updates on the bank’s ongoing operations, including its $500 million in already authorized project loans, and future plans.
And in this meeting, one representative of Indonesia, CEO Baraccafar, Frid Razalee opportunity to have a meeting with the CEO AIIB, Lin Jiqun in Beijing.
During the meeting, they discussed the Indonesian government programs that open cooperation with many countries.
"We hope for opportunities to bring investors from large groups, and its one from AIIB," said Frid, Saturday (25/6)
As is known, some time ago, Frid has attended a business forum in Sochu, Russia with President Jokowi and ministers during the event Asian Summit.

The bank has already signed major co-financing agreements with multilateral institutions including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Some of the programs that AIIB will co-finance in the coming months include an urban infrastructure project in Indonesia (with the World Bank) and a road project in Pakistan (with ADB).
The AIIB also signed a partnership agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with a co-financing collaboration on a road improvement project in the Caucasus in the pipeline.
