JAKARTA - Indonesian government saw there are many things that can not be left out of the Indonesian hostage incident in Philippines by Abu Sayyaf militants.

"It's not political, interests like these. We see like habit," said Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security (Menkopolhukam) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan after meeting with Vice President Jusuf Kalla at his office here on Monday (27/6).

In talks with the Vice President were discussing this citizen hostage, Luhut said that the government would not held hostage by interests.

"We had discussed Philippines, but of course I can not convey to the public because I do not report to the President," said Luhut

Furthermore, he said, the government is making efforts for the release of the hostages.

"Later, I think, two days ahead we will be open to the public. We are also conducting a verification is actually what happened, because too much information," he said.

As known, on July 23, 2016, Foreign Ministry received confirmation that there has been a hostage of the crew citizen Charles Ship Tugboat 001 and
Barge Robby 152.

Indonesian hostage taking of seven crew members took place in the Sulu Sea in two stages, ie on June 20 at around 11:30 am local time and about 12.45 local time by two different armed groups.
