SURABAYA - Persib Bandung coach, Dejan Antonic decided resign after Persib coach arrested Bhayangkara Surabaya United (BSU) in away games Indonesia Soccer Championship (ISC) A with a score of 4-1 at the Stadium Gelora Delta Sidoarjo, Saturday (11/6) night.

The decision was conveyed Dejan in the session press conference after the game.

Pressure to resign had been felt by the Serbian coach ahead of the game against BSU as discontent performance while against Madura United FC in the fifth week.

Dejan already ultimated by Viking Persib Club, one of the groups of supporters Persib, to resign from his post if again failed to win at home games. And Dejan took the decision to quit ahead of the ultimatum.

"Maybe this defeat was hard for me and the players, before this Surabaya United is not too good and we had a better squad than them. Perhaps, this time I break out from this team," said Dejan.

"Persib need new people, people who can answer the challenge of supporters who always wants a champion and win. Maybe the players as well, because it is a decision for the good of the players and the team Persib," he added.
