JAKARTA - For Manado citizens, eating bat meat is commonly. Yeahh.. bat, nocturnal animal which eating fruits. But surely, for Jakarta citizens eating bats are guaranteed an amazing thing.
At resto owned by hosts also model, Sendy Mamahit, you can eat bat in the form of food which in Manado called Paniki with relaxing momment while enjoying live music.
"It's main ingredient bat meat blended with coconut milk with spices such as onion, garlic, chilli, lemongrass, ginger," said Sendy to Sindonews recently.
In the new resto which she establishment two months later, Sendy try to introduce Manado dishes combined with relaxed atmosphere and entertainment.
"There are also other Manado typical food like Roa fish, Manado porridge until Kuah Asang fish is also available. Visitors not just eating, but also can hang out here. There is live music every night," said host in several TV shows.
Sendy admitted, there was no special adjustments when she decided into restaurant business that carries name ROA Manadonese Food, Blora.
"Basically, I like and can cook. Talent down from Oma (grandma). From children, I like to see and help Oma while she cook. Before opening this restaurant, I also have a catering business since two years ago. So there is no special adjustments for this bussines," explained this 25 year woman.
