JAKARTA - National Police Chief, General Badrodin Haiti instructed all staff to be always vigilant and careful in carrying out their duties because of a terrorist threat inspired the death of Wayan Mirna Salihin who was poisoned with cyanide.
"I've instructed all levels to be vigilant in carrying out the task," said Badrodin, Tuesday (16/2).
He says, information from the intelligence, terrorists will take action by giving or sending food that has been mixed with cyanide to members of the police.
According to him, the police were the target of the operation of the current terrorist and terrorists will do any strategy, both bombings, shootings using firearms and poison to kill police.
"It could be (inspired Mirna case). That's why I say it's a threat to members of the police can with bombs, shootings or use poison," he said.
Related to the potential threat, the four-star general was asking his staff to be vigilant when eating in a stall or a restaurant or given something by an unknown person.
"We have conveyed to the whole range, beware of food and drink stalls, restaurants, canteens. The terror threat is aimed at the police, including police officers," he said.
Previous, Wayan Mirna Salihin died after drinking coffee Ice Vietnamens at Olivia Restaurant in West Mall Grand Indonesia Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (6/1).
Coffee ordered by Mirna friend,Jessica Kumala Wongso was believed to have been added cyanide before drinking by Mirna.
