NEW YORK - Onslaught of pornographic content to children under age also hit the US. A colouring book that's a new hit with adults features raunchy sex positions for amateur artists to fill in. The X-rated project is the latest in a line of 'adult colouring' books, but this one really isn't suitable for kids.
Suggested as an erotic Valentine's gift, the crafty book is intended for couples to fill in together, and features 101 ready to colour lovers in explicit sex positions. The tongue in cheek book even comes with wacky names, including Cloud 69, Thunder Down Under and The Mustache Ride colouring has never been so naughty. It's been released by the Amorata Press branch of US publishers Ulysses Press, which specialises in "tastefully explicit" titles, including Orgasms That Will Make Her Toes Curl.
Kourtney Joy, senior publicist at Ulysses Press, said, "Colouring books for adults have really grown in popularity recently and we're putting the literal emphasis on adult with this colouring book, if you know what I mean.
"This one will inspire you to get more creative between the sheets - all you need to do is grab your lover, a box of coloured pencils and pick a position," he added.
Meanwhile, a buyer on Etsy said, "When I ordered this book, I didn't realise how many pages there were.
"You're not going to be colouring labia or anything like that, but it is pretty arousing and quite effective."
Last year a British knicker firm released a lingerie colouring calendar featuring ladies in saucy underwear. The Bluebella Adult colouring book featured models in basques, suspenders and stockings which could all be coloured in.
