JAKARTA - Fast Train Project Jakarta-Bandung assessed only be a tool of diplomacy between Indonesia and China. Cooperation carried out in order to pursue business prospects longer.
Executive Director of the Infrastructure Partnership & Knowledge Center (IPKC) Aaron Alrasyid Lubis rate, the fast train project made in China can be a door opener for other projects. The development is believed to be limited to the commodity in Indonesia-China bilateral relations.
"KA quickly has become a commodity material diplomacy between countries. Plus pursue future business prospects as a means of bilateral diplomacy between the two countries," he said in Jakarta, Monday (01/11).
Aaron said, before China officially designated as tenants of the project, there is competition with Japan. Currently, China is large enough market share fast train.
"Especially China and Japan another story, they're the competition, one has to use half of 50 years, one not yet 10 years old. Half of the railway network of China's fast-paced world, 16,000 kilometers," he said.
On the other hand, the weakening pace of the Chinese economy makes the existence of excess production capacity. They then sent a consultant to several countries to work on infrastructure projects.
