LOS ANGELES - Signs if Madonna and ex husband, Sean Penn will revert again increasingly bright. After both of them have been seen spending more time together in recent months and last weekend, they were spotted at a hotel bar in Santa Monica.
As Page Six reports, earlier this year Sean Penn will back with Madonna. The relationship’s being buzzed about around town.
“That’s a reason, Rocco (Madonna’s son with director Guy Ritchie) is staying in London with Guy. He doesn’t like Sean,” the source said.
But others closer to them have downplayed any relationship.
“They’re just really good friends,” Penn’s daughter, Dylan, explained when rumors raged.
Madonna’s recently come to Penn’s defense in his defamation suit against “Empire” creator Lee Daniels, and she and Penn were seen embracing at his Haiti event before she left.
But this rumor made it clear by Madonna at Saturday night. She loved Penn in the past and she feels the same way now.
"I want to say Sean that I love you from the moment. I laid eyes on you and I still love you just the same. I just wish you’d stop smoking cigarettes,” said Madonna in the crowd when arrived at his annual Golden Globes weekend Help Haiti Home gala for his J/P Haitian Relief Organization on Saturday night.
As we known they married for four years and divorced in 1989. Penn and Madonna's marriage was rumored to be fraught with issue, with police being called in during disputes.
However, Penn filed a lawsuit against Empire co-creator Lee Daniels after he implied Penn had been violent toward Madonna during their marriage.
In the suit, Penn states he "has never been arrested, much less convicted, for domestic violence, as his ex-wives (including Madonna) would confirm and attest."
