JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) set the Managing Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) II, RJ Lino as a suspect. Lino named as a suspect related to alleged procurement of Quay Container Crane (QCC) in Pelindo II at the 2010 fiscal year .
"KPK found two items of evidence sufficient to raise the status of investigation of the case to the investigation and set RJL (RJ Lino), Managing Director of Pelindo II Limited as a suspect," said the Daily Executive Head of Public Relations of the Commission, Yuyuk Andriati a news conference at the KPK building, Jakarta , Friday (18/12/2015).
In that case, Lino alleged abuse of authority as the President Director of Pelindo II on QCC project related procurement with intent to enrich himself or corporations.
"RJL diuga misuse of authority by way of direct appointment procurement ordered Container Quay Cranes to Chinese companies," he said.
For his actions, RJ Lino alleged to have violated article 2, paragraph 1 and Article 3 of Law No. 31 of 1999 as amended by Act No. 20 of 2001 on the Eradication of Corruption (Corruption Act) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code to-1.
Earlier, the House of Representatives Special Committee also recommends Pelindo II, RJ Lino and State Enterprises Minister, Rini M Soewandi to be removed from office because of this case.
