ISIS Build Indonesia Parts of Province

JAKARTA - The group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) did not play in the conduct of the action throughout the world, including in Indonesia. Unknown, this radical group has spread its wings to Indonesia by establishing leadership in the various provinces.

Deputy Enforcement and Development Capabilities National Counter Terrorism Agency (BNPT), Irjen Arief Darmawan confirmed that the terrorist network in Indonesia has been affiliated with ISIS.

Arief said that even if ISIS has spread its wings to Indonesia by establishing leadership in the various provinces.

"They have been sent to the leadership of ISIS and ISIS leaders agreed to Indonesian part of ISIS, those for Indonesia so many provinces with leadership," he explained.

When asked why ISIS easy to spread its ideology in Indonesia, because he thinks the seeds of radical groups have been used to exist in Indonesia.

"Well, DI/TII movement is still there, like NII (Negara Islam Indonesia) at JI (Jemaah Islamiyah) and all sorts. Well seeds has been around a long time," he said.

Earlier, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security (Menkopolhukam) Luhut Binsar Panjaitan said, based on intelligence data has been noted that the 800 residents of Indonesia joining ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
