White Revolution Started from Slum Area Behind Anies House

JAKARTA - Breakthrough aimed at educating the children of Jakarta through the White Revolution movement, lately began to talked about.

Is Bidadari Indonesia, a community organization that originated from Anies-Sandi volunteers during the Jakarta Election campaign, some time ago, one of which started doing this movement by distributing milk and boiled eggs in the slums.

"Because we are confident of getting egg and milk nutrients they will be more intelligent and qualified," said Chairman of the Bidadari Indonesia, Angel Monica Hariyanto at the slum village, Lebak Bulus, Jakarta on Saturday (28/10).

The village just behind the private residence of the Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan is the starting point of this White Revolution movement.

"Insha Allah we will hold this event regularly from village to village, from school to school," she promised.

Monica justify if this White Revolution movement is an appeal from the Chairman of Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.

"The eggs and milk are white, from which they are taken, in essence the movement to educate the children of Jakarta, we hope that Jakarta is not poverty," she said.

This movement, said Monica received a good response from the Governor and Vice Governor of Jakarta, Anies-Sandi.

"Maybe in the next activity, he can attend, down directly address the citizens of Jakarta and campaigning this White Revolution," she said.

Secretary General of Bidadari Indonesia, Ridha Satria added besides giving milk and eggs in slum village, they will make a Friday blessing movement which will give subsidized lunch to villagers who become victims of eviction.

"We hope together to alleviate poverty, we replace tears with happy laughter," she said.
