JAKARTA - Information Technology (IT) team of this non-structural government institutions successfully won The 'Koinku' 2017 Financial Inclusion Writing Contest which held by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in Jakarta on Wednesday (18/10).
"Alhamdulillah, our IT team managed to get the third rank in the general category, professionalism proven by the latest IT system that won the race in OJK will increase the public trust to Baznas. So that the spirit of zakat awakening in this country will be more stable," Chairman of the National Bureau of Amil Zakat (Baznas) Bambang Sudibyo in Jakarta, Thursday (19/10).
After a long judging process that ended on Tuesday (17/10), Baznas IT team managed to put aside 175 other participants from all over Indonesia. According to Bambang, the achievement is very proud because Baznas also reinforce the urgency of utilizing the digital sphere in realizing financial inclusion. Moreover, now financial technology (Fintech) becomes one of the great potential in supporting financial inclusion through online channels.
"Hopefully the achievement of Baznas IT system that won in the race held OJK encourage people in droves to pay zakat, infak and alms to Baznas," said this former Minister of Finance.
Operational Director of Baznas, Wahyu TT Kuncahyo added that his team sent a team consisting of Achmad Setio Adinugroho and Randi Swandaru. They presented an English paper entitled 'The Impact of SiMBA and Its Electronic Service Quality Towards Financial Inclusion'.
The competition itself is divided into three parts namely the academic categories for students D1, S1, S2 and S3 both individuals and groups, general categories for individuals and representatives of companies, educational institutions, NGOs and communities and categories of financial services (PUJK) from banking, and the non-bank financial industry that has innovated the financial access business model and implemented it within the company.
