Automotive Component Suppliers Industry Growth Five Until Ten Percent

JAKARTA - Although automotive industry is not very enthusiastic, one of the automotive component suppliers from the small and medium industry segment, PT Rekadaya Multi Adiprima, even had profitable.
Sales of the company's automotive components in the first half increased by 5 percent over the same period last year. Seeing this positive result, Rekadaya Multi Adiprima growth revenue targets up to 10 percent until the end of this year.
The results are inseparable from the range of automotive component products from the company which are components of local automotive company subscriptions such as PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, PT Honda Prospect Motor, PT Hono Motor Manufacturiing Indonesia, PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor and other automotive component companies.
There are five Rekadaya component products used by the national automotive industry. That is metal stamping components, non woven (fiber fibers), interior, mold components and plastic components. The superior products are fiber fibers which one of them serves as a silencer in the vehicle.
"We supply 65 percent of the national market and this makes us a market leader in Indonesia," said Farri Aditya, Vice President Director of Rekadaya Multi Adiprima in Jakarta, Monday (4/9).
One of the things that make Rekadaya become ruler of silencer products market in car cabin is because the non woven product terebut already made from various raw materials. Such as natural fibers, textile waste and a few fiber products. Non-woven products made by Rekadaya are soon getting certificate of Indonesian national standard or SNI.
"It's been approved to stay expelled," said Farri.
In addition to targeting clients of automotive companies, Rekadaya is also working to expand the market, especially for fiber fiber products, namely Astra International. One of them is Astra Land. He hopes the products for the sound absorber can be used in the field of property, as well as infrastructure that became reliable of Astra Land.

Another step is to enlarge the production capacity. Currently, non-woven production is only 400 tons per month from an installed capacity of 1,000 tons per month. At the end of this year, Rekadaya will optimize fiber fiber production to 1,000 tons per month. The installed capacity is boosted to 2,000 tons per month.
